First off, let's talk about the fact that I have been MIA for way too long! I am sorry! I know that I am not the first blogger or the last to give this whole spiel of how they are just so busy and don't have time for this hobby called blogging. I am still at the job on the last post I left you with. Surprising! I know.... I am just as surprised! When I left you guys, I was seriously debating "walking" out of this place. Ok, so "walking" may not be the best word to describe my... well, let's just say "pre-meditated" plans for how I would make my grand exit. I am choosing to stick it out though and just take this time to refine my resume and share it with anyone who will look at it! I would like to stay with a school district so that really narrows down my options. I am just thankful that I have job currently which allows me to be picky.
Another good thing is, I have been so busy with high school football ticket sales, volleyball and buses (among many, many other things) that I have not even had the time to think about anything but the individual tasks at hand. I have just realized that my issue is with the one bad apple in the office and I am not going to let her evil-self run me off! I have had to tell her I am too busy for your crap so buzz off and find someone else to terrorize! This of course is only a temporary fix but at least makes me feel a little better.
This whole thing has just made me realize that I just need to focus on what really matters and I how blessed I am to have my wonderful, loving husband and amazing friends and family. They are truly precious to me and I plan to spend as much of this weekend with them relaxing and laughing as I possibly can! Thank God for the weekends and I just have to keep in mind that "I work to live not live to work."
I hope that everybody has a wonderful weekend and now that things are kinda, sorta getting back to normal I am going to make it a point to start my consistent blogging again. Thank you for understanding and for those of you that are avid readers thank you for "listening" to me and if you ever have any advice please share!
Here are some pictures as of lately! The hubby and I found this beautiful, secluded cove (by accident) and we have been spending the last couple of weekends out there. Here are some of the pictures:
