Happy Monday!

Hello and a Happy, Happy Monday to everyone!
The hubby and I had a lot of fun this weekend! We didn't do anything out of the ordinary but just really enjoyed ourselves with good friends and over-all just relaxed. We even took a two-hour nap on Sunday after church! It was amazing!

Friday-

We started off the weekend celebration by divulging in a good old fashion burger! We went to local burger joint called Wallbangers which I happen to think has some of the best burgers in town (Robby and I still disagree about this... He is a Fudruckers fan.... Yuck!)
Afterwards, we hung out with Brooke and Pat out in the garage which is always a good time! We just sit, talk and laugh the entire time! It is great and we are so blessed to have them in our lives!

Saturday-

We spent the day at the mall where Robby (who is not a shopper) was able to finds some real deals! We got him a couple of Tommy Hilfiger shorts for $15.00 each and an Izod Polo for $8.00 @ Macy's!

Also, what do you guys think about fur (faux, of course) hats, shawls, and vests? Robby and I were goofing around and I started trying on all of the hats in Dillard's. So, while doing this, I found this fur hat and I kind of liked it! Ya.... No, I really liked it.... Robby just laughed.... What do you think?

Saturday night we were wined & dined by Brooke and Pat! They barbecued ribs and made some of the best green beans I think I have ever had!

I made Bacon Ranch Cheesy Potatoes which turned out really good! You can find the recipe on my Pinterest.

 

Sunday-

Was quite normal, we went to church and then went to lunch with Robby's mom and step-dad. Relaxed and then went for our evening walk where the funniest thing happened! I just have to share! Robby was viciously attacked while we went on our walk! There was a little but very plump chihuahua that came over and started attacking Robby!

 She was biting his ankles and Robby didn't know what to do so he just kept walking until the dog's owner came out and started calling for the devil dog and this is where it gets better. The dog's name was "precious" and when Robby heard that he just looked at the lady and said "Precious? There ain't nothing precious about that thing!" I was like OMG! But I was laughing so hard I couldn't even apologize. It was so funny!
