It is Thursday! I love Thursday's because you can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I am so channeling Mrs. Mia Wallace today and loving it! I will have to ask the hubby take a picture when we go get lunch together here in a few minutes but these ones will have to do for now:
Pulp Fiction is literally one of my all time favorite movies and a big reason is because of Mia Wallace! Her sense of fashion and the straight-forward "coolness" made it very hard to take your eyes off of her.
Enough about movies though, last night Kati and I had our weekly phone date and 3 hours later I just sat outside on the patio rehashing everything that we had talked about. Bottom line is, we are everywhere when we talk. We jump from one thing to the other and there is really no sane flow from one topic to the next but it for some reason it just works! Robby always asks when I get off the phone with her, "So what did ya'll talk about?" I almost always just start laughing because the thought of repeating all of it is just... well... daunting! I try and give him snid-bits but like I said, we are everywhere and the summary just does not seem to cut it. I really enjoy catching up with her though and hearing what is going on in her life!
She, just like Brooke has decided to literally sacrifice everything (including sleep, stability, and sanity) to go to school full time. I commend them! The thought of going back to school comes up from time to time but to be honest, it scares me to let go of my security of a full time paycheck. Brooke and I have sat outside many times talking about the fear but excitement of the whole thing. They are both so strong and dedicated and I look up to them so much! I do not know what the future holds for me but it sure does help to have two very strong models and a loving and fully supportive husband to look up to if I decided to take that leap!
