Ok, Ok, that was pretty corney, I know! But it is the truth! I feel like for the past 4 days my husband and I have not talked because we usually have our evening walks but since the opening ceremonies we have been glued to the tv!
All of the past Olympics I have not been old enough to appreciate them. I mean, I rememeber being a little girl sitting with my father watching the various sports and I rememeber taking a special interest in tennis and gymnastics but this is the first Olympics that I think I can appreciate how truly talented these athletes are.
These photos show the crazy emotion of the games and why it is so easy to get into it and become a crazed fan like myself... GO TEAM USA! I can't imagine how nervous the athletes must be the moment before their competition starts.... Here are some of my favorite pictures:
