Fancy Word of the Day: Insouciant

Fancy word every girl should know: insouciant
Why I chose this fancy word: While quickly trying to find what would be today's fancy word of the day I found insouciant and instantly became intrigued. Upon learning its meaning, I’ve used the word several times on this oh-so hectic Friday to describe my yearning for those rare moments during the week when life slows down and becomes worry-free.
Definition: insouciant (adj.) pronunciation: in-soo-see-uhnt
  1. free from concern, worry, or anxiety; carefree; nonchalant
Use this word in a sentence: The stresses of adult life made Carrie long for the insouciant days of her childhood.
