Fancy Word of the Day: Dither

TEG_Usefancywords_English11
With a new month starting, and knowing the importance a constant growing vocabulary in this day and age, I think I am going to start doing a "Fancy word of the day!" So, for the rest of December, I am going to do a daily small post showcasing a deliciously fancy word that I think all women can add to their conversations.

I am picking this word because I think that with the Holiday Parties and exquisite opportunities to showcase some of your favorite winter fashions coming up, this word will be able to be used quite often!

Fancy word every girl should know: dither
Why I chose this fancy word: When you need a better way to describe (a), your wavering attitude about which dress you’re wearing on a birthday, holiday, or special occasion (b), whether or not to get the haircut you've been dreaming about at your next hair appointment or, (c), if your Friday night will be spent cuddling with your fur babies watching Meryl Streep movies or out on the town in shoes you can’t walk in (you know which one I'm picking), spice it up with dither, a lovely way to say you are being indecisive.
Definition: dither (intransitive verb) pronunciation: dith-er
  1. To act irresolutely. Indecisive.
Use this word in a sentence: We don't have time to dither because we are late for the movie so hurry up and decide on a pair of shoes already!
