HAPPY WEEKEND TO EVERYBODY!
I know this weekend is going to be lots of muddy fun! We are going to South Texas Mud Fest & Music Festival tomorrow and I am so excited about it! Are you doing anything fun?
Side note:
This picture is so beautiful and surreal that I just had to share. There are still more than 200,000 people without power, hundreds of homes destroyed, and the death toll has now risen to more than 30 people, with Mayor Bloomberg cautioning that it might grow even higher in the coming days.
It makes me thank the Lord and realize just how blessed we were that this hurricane season was quite uneventful. The downfall of living on the coast is having to fear losing everything, every year! When that weather man comes on the tube and says, "Well everybody, it's that time of year again..." we all cringe because we know that this could be the year. Let's just promise to keep an extra prayer in our hearts for those people affected and make a conscious effort to be grateful for the things we have. I hope that everybody has an amazing weekend and stays safe!
xoxo
