Bohemian Wedding Bells

I ran across a wedding photo shoot that literally took my breath away. The title of the shoot is "Luxe Bohemian Inspired Photoshoot", which is probably why I loved it so much.  I find myself just as drawn to boho influence as much as I am to elegance. It can be hard to "marry" (no pun intended) the two very different aesthetics, but this photo shoot did it so flawlessly.

With both my besties getting to the stages in their lives where wedding bells are not just a distant dream but just a matter of time, I have really been more conscientious of what is "in" in the wedding world. While both girls have expressed their love for a very intimate and elegant wedding, this photo shoot made me think of Brooke who has said before that a barn wedding is definitely a dream of hers. Since she shared this tid-bit with me, I have been keeping an eye out for different ideas- pinning anything remotely like what she described! I think this could give some amazing inspiration...

The photoshoot introduced a jewelry vanity out of stacks of hay- the wedding party could pick jewelry out for pictures.  What a dream! I love!

Did I say how I absolutely love this idea???

So adorable!

The subtle addition of glamorous details with a rustic barn setting creates a unique atmosphere that is beautiful without feeling stuffy.  Gone are the days when barn weddings meant cowboy boots and mason jars only (not that there is anything wrong with that... We live in Texas for heavens sake) I just love the idea of an upscale barn wedding! Hey, even one where the groom can wear a tux...

What do you think of the details?  Do you (or did you) plan to mix up the aesthetic of your wedding, or are you more of a traditionalist?  Do tell!
